Marcos Freitas - Dusseldorf The seventh journey of the 1st German League, Borussia Düsseldorf with Portugal’s Marcos Freitas receives on Sunday November 9 at 1.00pm the TTC indeland Jülich, the Portuguese previous club. Düsseldorf which currently holds the second position in the league table will face the sixth classified, and presents itself with the Germans Timo Boll (no. 5), Dimitrij Ovtcharov (no. 14), Christian Süß (no. 44) and the Portuguese Marcos Freitas (no. 76). The opponent team will play with the German Jörg Roßkopf (no. 56), the japonese Taku Takakiwa (no. 84), British Paul Drinkhall (no. 121) and Belgian Julien Indeherberg (no. 813).

Düsseldorf Wins Il Circolo Milano 3:0 PDF Print E-mail

Borussia Dusseldorf Marcos Freitas team's Borussia Düsseldorf, beat today the ASD TT IL Circolo Milano with 3:0 in the third Round of the Men’s European Champions League. The Portuguese Marcos Freitas did not play in this meeting which started with Timo Boll beating Bojan Tokico in three straight games (11-3, 11-5, 11-5). The Düsseldorf won with 3-1 the following matches, through Dimitrij Ovtcharov who won Menge Ma with 11-4, 11-8, 11-13, 11-6, and Christian Süß overcame Roko Tosic with the margins of 11-9, 9-11, 11-9, 11-7. The next challenge of the European Champions League fourth Round will happen on November 14 at 7.00 pm Borussia Düsseldorf travels to France to face the G.V. Hennebont T.T.

Marcos Freitas - Borussia Dusseldorf Twenty-year-old Portugal’s Marcos Freitas has been making progress in the Men’s World ranking list issued by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) for the month of November. The athlete sponsored by TIBHAR and that during this season is representing the German club Borussia Düsseldorf, has reached his best result until now improving in ten positions relatively to the previus month. He now appears at no.76 having previously been ranked at no.86. In the Under 21 Men’s Singles ranking list the player has also made progress since he moves from no. 8 to no. 7.

Borussia Dusseldorf On Friday 7 November at 7.00pm.Borussia Düsseldorf will disput the tirdth journey of the Champions League 2008/2009. It should be noted that the Düsseldorf (Germany) was placed in the Group A, along with GV Hennebont T.T. (France), Roskilde Bordtennis Btk 61 (Denmark) and ASD TT IL Circolo Milan (Italy). Borussia Düsseldorf will face the ASD TT IL Circolo Milano (Italy) where two players acting ex-Frickenhausen, Chinese Ma Wenge (February ranking no.50 and best WR position - no.2) and the Slovenian Bojan Tokic (no. 38), the Croatian Roko Tosic (no.119) and Niagol Stoyanov (no. 363). Düsseldorf will play with the Germans; Timo Boll World ranking number five, Dimitrij Ovtcharov (no. 14), Christian Süß (no. 44) and the Portuguese Marcos Freitas (no. 76).

Borussia Dusseldorf Marcos Freitas’ team Borussia Düsseldorf defeated today TTC RhönSprudel Fulda-Maberzell with 3:0, in the meeting regarding the Germany’s Cup. The Portuguese did not play and Dimitrij Ovtcharov proved dominant as he defeated Xi Wang in four games (9-11, 11-6, 7-11, 9-11). Lefthanded, athletic, top player, World Ranking number six Timo Boll proved too fast for the experienced Qingyu Meng. He succeeded in three straight games with the margins of 5-11, 6-11, 2-11, whilst Christian Süss ended the hopes of Fulda’s team and overcame Robert Svensson in four games. He won 6-11, 13-15, 11-6, 10-12. The next meeting at Final Four will be held on 27th December in TUI Arena in Hanover.

Marcos Freitas - Dusseldorf Borussia Düsseldorf’s team, Top seed Germany’s Timo Boll winner of the Men’s Singles title at the Erke Austrian Open in Salzburg on Sunday 2nd November 2008, Marcos Freitas, Dimitrij Ovtcharov and Christian Süss, have already retourn to the German city of Düsseldorf after their participation at the Austrian Open. Tomorrow Tuesday 4 November at 7.30pm Düsseldorf has scheduled an important match against the TTC RhönSprudel Fulda-Maberzell in the first meeting of Germany's Cup. The opponent team will play with the Chinese Xi Wang (no. 167), Feng Zhe and the Swedes Jan-Ove Waldner and Robert Svensson (no. 105).
