SA Pontoise Cergy’s team where plays the Portuguese Marcos Freitas defeated today Friday Ochsenhausen of Germany with 3:1 in the Round 6 at the European Champions League. Two clubs which had same aim played one against another tonight and there was just one more ECL ticket in Group B, which at the end belonged to Pontoise. In “do or die” game French team beat 2009 ECL finalist Ochsenhausen, thanks first of all, to Marcos Freitas and Adrien Mattenet. The best Ochsenhausen`s player Tiago Apolónia tonight suffered two losses from same rivals. First, he was beaten by his team mate from Portuguese national team, Marcos Freitas and later by Adrien Mattenet.

The Portuguese player Marcos Freitas, sponsored by the German sports TIBHAR who plays for the AS Pontoise Cergy at the French League, is among the world elite and will disput the Top 12. The  competition will take place near Lyon-Villeurbanne in France on 4th and 5th February 2012.

This tournament involves the twelve best table tennis players in Europe. With his hard work and dedication to this sport, Marcos Freitas puts Portugal for the second consecutive year in this competition which has got eleven other big names in the European Table Tennis.

Pontoise team where plays the Portuguese Marcos Freitas defeat Lokomotiva from Czech Republic with 3:1, at the Round 5 of the European Champions League.

The next meeting regarding the ECL is scheduled for 16th December 2011 at 19:30 CET and Pontoise moves to Germany to face the Germany’s Ochsenhausen.

The Pontoise team drew last Tuesday against Levallois with 3:3 in the meeting regarding the seventh round of the Pro-A France’s League. This was an exciting match and with this result the Pontoise is in the fifth place at the table.

The next meeting regarding the Pro-A will be held on 20th December 2011 and Pontoise will face Saint Maur VGA, currently in the seventh place.

Cergy Pontoise team, where plays the Portuguese Marcos Freitas, will face tomorrow Tuesday 15th November the Istres’s team, at the meeting of the 6 Round at the French League Pro A. The opponent team is currently in the sixth place and will line up with Kalinikos Kreanga, Dimitrij Prokopcov and Cho Eon Rae.

On 18th November at 20:00 CET, Pontoise’s team will disput the 4 Round of the European Champions League (ECL)  facing Russia’s UMMC Ekaterinbourg. Pontoise will be presented with Marcos Freitas, Adrien Mattenet, Tristan Flore and Peter Franz. In turn, the opposing team will line up with Michael Maze, Hou Yingchao and Alexander Shibaev.
